Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your access to Proposalist ("the Service"), operated from the United States. By creating an account you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. One person or business per account.

3. Plans and billing

The free plan includes three proposals for the lifetime of the account. Pro is billed monthly at $19 per month through Stripe and renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Settings; access continues through the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

4. AI-generated content

Proposals are drafted by an AI model from the details you supply. Output may contain errors, omissions, or figures that do not match your intent. You are solely responsible for reviewing and editing every proposal before sending it to a client, and for any commitment it makes. Proposalist is not a law firm and does not provide legal, tax, or financial advice.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you enter and everything the Service generates for you. You grant us only the limited licence needed to store, process, and display your content so the Service can work, including sending it to our AI provider to generate text. We do not sell your content and do not use it to advertise to third parties.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to create fraudulent, deceptive, harassing, or unlawful material; to infringe others' rights; to send unsolicited bulk messages; or to probe, scrape, overload, or reverse engineer the Service. We may suspend accounts that violate this section.

7. Share links

Proposal share links are unguessable but publicly reachable by anyone who has the URL. Treat them as you would an unlisted document and only share them with the intended recipient.

8. Availability and warranty

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may change or discontinue features.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business, or indirect or consequential damages.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access for a breach of these Terms. On termination your proposals are deleted.

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced by email or in the app. Questions go to support@proposalist.live.
